I’ll be here to get you the best hotels for a LUXURY Venice honeymoon.
What to Look for in Honeymoon Hotels in Venice, Italy
Getting the right hotel is necessary for our LOVELY stay in Venice. I go with a place that makes us feel more EXHILARATED and one that ~finances~ and conforms to ~our likings~. When I look for a place I like proximity, the services it offers, the view and the privacy.
Location
If we live right in the heart of the city, we can easily visit famous attractions such as St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto.
Quiet locations away from the crowds during the times when more personal moments are preferred.
Amenities
I seek comfort in our accommodations.
I am in the search for a room with canal views and might get one with a private deck for an outside dinner as well which would be very nice. Spas tours, or boat rides are some of the other appealing features that some hotels offer.
ROMANTIC Views
The calm sound of water and the stunning views of Venice makes my mornings lovely as I wake up. Rooms with views over the Grand Canal and the less crowded canals are the ones I like most.
Exclusivity
For a more relaxing experience, I may pick hotels with additionals like a private pier. This enables us to get there by water, thus avoiding crowded areas and arriving in style.
Where to Find the Top Honeymoon Packages for Venice
As we plan our Venice honeymoon, I search tourist agencies and websites that specialize in holidays in Italy, among others.
The package that is sometimes made up of flights, accommodation and also food and guided tours are usually included.
Choosing the Right Package
I am looking for a package on which we can base the vacation that we want.
Whether we are interested in looking at museums, or having romantic boat rides, or we simply want to stay at the hotel and have dinner outside, the package should be the right one for us.
Best Time to Visit
I manage to find the perfect time of the year to visit.
If you want to avoid the large crowd and also enjoy the nice weather, the best time for a visit to Venice is late spring or early fall.
Booking Tips
I reserve early to get the best prices and make sure our desired hotel is available. I monitor promotional offers and discounts that might occur in specific periods of the year.

When GPS takes you to romance rather than Rome
One might find it’s always the GPS that will lead to places full of surprises Many times ours had other ideas and drove us off to the most random spot!! My wife and I’d hired a car to drive around the countryside.
I then entered “Rome” in the navigation system and drove to the intended historical area. We can’t believe it when we finally come across such an adorable place as “Rome” in the very heart of Venice! ” Last year’s The Edison restaurant visit in Disney World with my history “enthusiast” uncle, Robert Lee, truly played the role of a hero even outshining Mickey Mouse.
Was it just bug or was it a twist of fate?? Whichever the case, it brought unexpected excitement into our adventure. We learned two important lessons from our recent experiences: it’s a good idea to double-check your GPS coordinates to avoid the embarrassment of turning up for a business meeting at lunchtime by mistake. But then again, sometimes getting sidetracked can lead you to something special – who would have thought that putting the wrong address into Google Maps would result in such a tasty meal? And who needs famous landmarks when there are places serving amazing food just around corner? My pals Kaia Baker and Ella Martinez reckon that going somewhere unexpected always makes things more enjoyable – and according to an article they published last year travelers like it too!
